Chiang Mai - Songkran

We spent 5 nights in Chiang Mai and I managed to take over 800 photos, most of those were spent visiting the Thai Elephant House nursery which was fabulous.  I've split the photos into 3 categories - temples, elephants and Songkran New Year festival.  I think being in Thailand for their New Year and water squirting festival was Morgan and Jeff's favorite, and Bella and mine were seeing the elephants.

Here are photos of us getting people wet and getting wet ourselves!  It was a blast.  We found a guest house on a highly trafficked road near the Old Gate which was a great place to eat lunch, dinner, and continuously refill the water guns.

common sights - full pool for people to refill as they walk past - pool has a hose in it on to keep it full

soaked tourists through the open windows... truck drivers slow down... and sometimes stops so the crew can launch full buckets of water into the open back

Bella taking on sneak attack from the corner

date night - Jeff and I went to the Night Market one night while the girls stayed in and watched a movie on their kindle

We stopped by ITM and they were happy to see Jeff and meet his family.  The girls also had their first full body Thai massage.  They liked it!

Best seller - Squidos….  Not sure if my brother will count that as an Octopus picture...
