Lake Como - Bellagio

Lake Como is the weekend destination spot for Milan's wealthier class and is a very popular summer destination. Though again - it was super hot!!! We had thought we'd want to spend 2 days, but after a day of walking around (and it was beautiful) we figured we'd head for higher elevation.

We stayed at a fabulous 2 star B&B right with an ocean view and balcony. Again - the star system here in Italy is odd and I think unless you are maybe a "registered" hotel you can make it up! :-) The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the center of town which was quite hilly with lots of steps up and down.

We went for a couple long walks one when we arrived and another later that evening once it had cooled off.
