Relay Marathon - Yoshinogari Historic Park

Jeff and I joined the Sasebo Tri Club to run a relay marathon in Yoshinogari historical park.  It was really the perfect location as there is a HUGE playground or rather 4 or 5 different playgrounds next to each complete with bouncing dome, zip lines, slides...  The girls had a great time entertaining themselves the whole time while we ran our guts out 1.2 miles at a time!  My idea of a 6 person marathon relay was to be an easy day but ended up being an all out sprint with a short rest times 4!  The weather was perfect and we had a lot fun.  There were 380 teams and our fast team came in 11th - and we were slower but still ran our hardest.  I'm just happy to have run faster than Jeff!  :-)
