First Few Months in Sasebo
Life has been quite busy, but in the past few months we have found a house and moved in. Jeff has unpacked and sorted most of our 9000 pounds. The girls are happy to have their own rooms and toys, which had all been pack on the slow boat. Our house is perfect - 1820 SF in a nice community with side walks, wide roads and lots of Americans. Morgan's school bus is across the park which is right next to our house. We are 5 miles from work which the girls and I have walked already, and I've biked a few times. Photos of the house to follow.
We have gotten the girls routine somewhat established though it is hectic:
* Monday 4:45-5:15 Bella swim lesson
* Tuesday 5:30-7 Morgan swim team; Bella piano 5:30-6 in Ginza
* Wednesday 4:30-5 Morgan piano in Ginza, Bella swim 4:45-5:15
* Thursday 5:30--7 Morgan swim team
* Saturday both girls in hip hop class in town
Fortunately swimming is on base next to my work and the Ginza is a 15 minute walk away. Things are close. This past week I biked in early to work (in the dark without much traffic) so I could go to the gym before work.
We are establishing routines and figuring out our systems. Getting settled
Now that we have internet at home I can update the blog. I will add in photos/short explanations of event over the last two months.
Love you all.
