Christmas in Naples

We had such a great 2-week Christmas with family in Naples! Liz's parents and brother John and Jeff's sister Kristin all arrived before Christmas and the day after Christmas John's girlfriend Kaitlin arrived in Rome. We enjoyed about a week in Naples and then spent the weekend in Rome after Christmas. Liz's parents celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on December 22. Kristin was a very thoughtful aunt and gave Morgan so many presents that Morgan had to open a few presents every day - bath crayons, lap top, Elmo, clothes, books! Jeff prepared an amazing Christmas Eve dinner that we had at our house.

Liz's parents left right before New Year's. NYE was spent in our house, huddled inside listening to the booms/glass shaking as people launched fireworks off every balcony! It was insanely loud and unsafe, and Mo managed to sleep through it.

Santa Claus at the Exchange

We saw Santa today and Morgan freaked out!! Unlike last year when she didn't even notice. I instantly got in there to save her - picked her up and then sat on Santa's lap with her. He was pretty surprised!! :-) Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!
