The girls and Jeff had an extra month of summer vacation in Michigan (while I worked!), but then I did get to fly to States for work and added 2 weeks in SoCal. Highlights of course were seeing family, my parents, brother and his family, and friends. I got in a few runs and hike in Torrey Pines, a swim in LJ Shores, a couple surf sessions (attempts for me - Jeff hadn't forgotten anything and seems to have improved), breakfast at the race in Del Mar, a few bike rides (yes I got a new bike to bring back!), happy hours and summer concerts.
After about a week in San Diego, we spent a week in Idyllwild with my parents, and brother and his family at a 3500 sf air bnb with gorgeous views, backyards and tons of games!
