Christmas

Jeff arrived in Frankfurt Dec 23.  Dec 23 Kristin took Carmen, Max and us to Sensapolis - a very cool indoor kids amusement park.  Dec 24 we went to the Stuttgart circus and the 25th was Christmas Day.  We called a family - my parents were still flying back from New Zealand so we 'what's apped' as they found wifi.  We had a great video chat with my brother and his family and reminisced about our childhood vacations in Germany/Austria.  We also chatted with both of Jeff's parents.  Santa found us - and was good to the girls this year.  Here are a few photos.

Not your ugly sweater, from Kiki for Christmas - love them!  We opened them Dec 24 as a special gift that gets to be opened before Christmas Day.  The girls thought that in Germany they should be allowed to do as the Germans and open all gifts on Dec. 24.  Even Santa arrives in Germany Dec. 24.

the circus was awesome with acts and stunts I've never seen before.  we were amazed that people could run and jump standing up on horse without a springboard or assistance!  it was incredible as were the acrobatics and 10 motorcyclists in a metal ball.  the stage was small so had there been a miss-up we would have seen it all....

thanks Aunt Sherri - there were also lots of cute outfits and clothes from Nana and Gregg.  Nana is extremely stylish and the girls always look forward to seeing what's in the large bags of clothes that gives them.

Kristin cooking her tradition morning crepes for breakfast

Kristin found an English Christmas Day mass service which was preceded with 30 minutes of caroling.  We all enjoyed it and the building was beautiful, despite no heat inside.  :-)

Christmas Dinner - Kristin cooked turkey schnitzel, spatzel noodle and we had a nice salad.  The poppers had jokes and funny lip cards we played with after dinner.
