Father's Day Baseball Game
We celebrated Father's day with a Fukuoka Softbank Hawks baseball game. It was really fun, and even though I don't know who they were playing nor the final score it seems that no one knew either. Baseball games in Japan are definitely more for entertainment than watching the athletes. Most of the cheers would be considered quite distracting. In addition, the pitchers are warming up on the field as the game is in session. It was fun and noisy game. We all enjoyed sending off balloons at the 7th inning stretch - a common Japanese baseball tradition.
