Last Hawaii Pictures

Here are our last pictures from paradise, and most exciting was getting to meet up with my cousin James who I've not seen for years.  We were able to get together twice - once at Waikiki for Dukes for dinner and then at the North Shore Teddy's Burger.  It was great catching up and hearing about scuba diving and our shared experiences and interests. 

The girls also really liked going to the Polynesian Cultural Center and watchin the shows and playing activities at each of the island exhibits, followed by the fire and dance play in the evening.  Jeff and I managed to surf another time, spend more time at the beach and pool, and Jeff and the girls also went on a submarine and toured the USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor Aviation museum.  I also fit in a 1.6 mile north shore summer swim from Chuns to Waimea Bay and raced by 2 turtles.

What a great trip and hoping to get together with my cousin again soon!

Dolphins, Biking and 4th of July

We've been having a great time in Hawaii.  Jeff's golfed twice now and the 2nd time he was very proud to have beat the course (2 under par) and also beat a college student on a golf scholarship!  I got in a great 70-mile bike ride with Tradewinds cycle group that was awesome - from Waikiki, past Hanauma Bay to Makapaa Point, Kaneohe and Kalua and back.  We also splurged to snorkel with the dolphins and the girls did fabulously!  We got dropped off in 200-300 ft deep turquoise water while the boat motored away and dolphins swam past us.  It's been a great trip!
