Christmas in San Antonio!

We spent Christmas in San Antonio this year at my parents house!  They bought all of our tickets (thank you!) and were fabulous hosts!  We spent a week and had a lot of fun building ginger bread houses, seeing the lights at the nearby dude ranch in Banderas, going to friends Boxing Day party, boating down the river walk, eating at Mi Tierra's and spending time with family.  John, Kaitlin and Caroline flew in for Caroline's 1st Christmas and Kaitlin's parents came as well from Maryland.  Caroline had both sets of grandparents on her 1st Christmas.   The girls got along very well with Dublin for which we were all happy and relieved.  Though there was no snow, it was colder than California.  Here are a few photos!  Love JeLiMoBe

PS - Santa's big gift this year, with Winny's insightful notes after spending the past month watching us, was a new 60" tv for the family room and a new tv and DVD player for the girls playroom (they didn't seem to notice that their was actually from our bedroom!).  I keep telling Jeff he's got to not be sooooo excited by the gift or the girls will put it together and figure out who Santa is and that really we just wanted a new BIG TV!

It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas!

It's hard to feel like Winter in sunny 80-degree weather (and no I'd never complain about that!), but by putting up the tree yesterday, Morgan singing holiday songs at Church today and going to the first ever Winter Wonderland a Petco Park we are getting in the holiday spirit!  This was the first year that the girls put on most of the ornaments, glass balls and all, by themselves and it turned out perfect!

Morgan has been practicing with the children's choir at church and today sang in both the 9 and 11 AM services.  I was quite impressed with the difficult and long words - talking about Susan B. Anthony and voting, and being who you are, and phenomenon!

The lights and decoration at the Winter Wonderland were fabulous!  The girls had fun petting the reindeer.  Hope you and your families are getting into the Christmas spirit!  Love JeLiMoBe

Community Holiday Party & Disney

Attached are pictures from our community holiday party!  It was really fun!  There were bounce houses, slides, Clydesdale sleigh rides, photos with Santa and art projects.  Saturday we met friends at the community party and Sunday we went to Disney for a quick trip to see the holiday parade (featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf), It's a Small World decorated for the holidays and the Cars ride.  Here are a few photos of the weekend!
