Morgans 6th Birthday Baking Frozen Party
Morgan wanted to invite her whole class, but our house isn't big enough for all of them nor did we want to be that outnumbered (even with Aunt Kiki, Uncle John and Kaitlin, and Grandpa Richard and Grandma Ann) for a kid party. We limited it to girls and ended up with the perfect number - 5 close friends!
Granny Annie sewed adorable aprons for the girls in blue and pink with a pocket! They loved it!! Upon arrival they all got suited up and colored their own chef hats. I was slightly worried 30 minutes later when they were still coloring we could be there for the whole party! The girls love markers and stickers!
Then it was pizza time, cake pop creation, and cup cake decorating (the real fun!). The girls loved it! Candy, icing, and sprinkles! Amazingly everyone was neat and fit around our kitchen table. Each girl made 4 cupcakes which we boxed up... for them to eat at home. :-) We also played a few games - Hard Boiled Olaf with cute faces courtesy of artist G-pa Richard, and the girls sang 'let it go!' and 'wanna build a snowman' perfectly. I had printed out words for everyone and the parents to help out but they knew all words and sang beautifully - very impressive. Then it was storybook time - these kindergartners are great readers - pizza and fruit salad lunch. Followed by opening presents and exerting energy outside chasing balls, hula-ing hoops and drawing hopscotch with chalk outside. Lastly it was time to sing Happy Birthday with an Olaf cake and snow flake ice cream (Jeff still reigns as super cake-meister supreme!).
Special thanks to our family for helping out and making the birthday very special for Morgan. It was a huge success and we all had fun!!!
