Uncle John and Kaitlin visit

Uncle John and Kaitlin came down to visit the last weekend in June.   Saturday we all went to Legoland - Uncle, Aunt, Grandma, Grandpa and the 4 of us!  I believe John built the fastest lego car, Bella had the most race entries, Katilin's car with the radio tower was most creative, Jeff had the industructible tank, and Morgan's car was pretty sleek with wheels and person.  We went on a few kiddie rides including the spinning one which Jeff and John got really going.  Grandpa took Bella on the airplane ride.  After lunch the girls got soaked playing in the sprinkler area and going down slides. Fortunately we had their swimsuits!  Bella thought if she would stomp on the sprinklers it would make them work - pretty cute.

After tiring out the girls, we dropped them at the Youth Center for a kid-free evening at our house.  We BBQ'd - Jeff did a great job with the meat and Kaitlin made a salad and had organic, gluten free brownies.  Later in the evening the raccoon that lives in our backyard tree became the entertainment!

Sunday evening we went to parents condo and played in their pool.

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great Father and Grandfather day!  It started with a big breakfast at our house, followed by church and the afternoon Padres game!!  It was an exciting game - the Padres won and beat the Arizona Diamondbacks.  The girls enjoyed it.  What a great day!

Pre-School Graduation

Morgan had her Pre-School Graduation on Friday.  It was an Aloha Theme and they sang Hawaiian Rainbow and did a cute dance.  It was really cute!  Afterward Phoebe and Mo did a repeat song and dance for us!  Grandma and Grandpa were there for it too which made it extra special.

Morgan is getting excited for Kingergarten.  Last month they I took her to an open house and she got to meet her potential teachers and see her classrooms. Can you believe they have about 7-8 computers in the common area for them to use in Kindergarten.  Morgan was most excited that they had a Disney book to read, the Lion King, and by their playground.

Morgan's 5th Birthday Party!

Today Morgan turned 5!  She woke up this morning and stood next to me and told me she was so much taller!!  She's been excited about her birthday for practically a year, and I do think it lived up expectations.  Her Aunt Kiki arrived on Thursday evening which was a huge treat!  Kiki has been sharing an aerobed with the girls and spoiling them with tons of attention and super cute clothes, hair accessories and toys.

Saturday Grandpa Richard, Grannie Annie, and Guinness arrived to escape the Texas heat and spend time with us and Uncle John here in SoCal for the summer.  They arrived just in time to help out with the party - Grannie did wrapping and Grandpa made a beautiful Sun Star Banner cake.

Here are pictures from the party!  Check out the Singing Rapunzel (from Parties Unique - highly recommended!!!) guest of honor who was a huge hit!  She had activities, a beautiful voice, and kept the kids entertained.  We all had a great time!!   Grandma was the Fairy God Mother and Kiki and I were Princesses!!!

Love,
