Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor was one of our favorite stops and surprisingly picturesque. The whole historic town is considered a UNESCO site - a walled city. It's easy to imagine what midevil times would have been like with the small narrow streets and high fortress walls. The city is small set between mountains and the sea. We had a great walk exploring the town.

Fishing Village - Agrostoli

Not too much to see - a small fishing village with a nice boardwalk, a pedastrian shopping street w/ typical tourist souvenir wares and a fruit market.

Jeff's Birthday on the Boat

Leave it to parents to figure out how to smuggle alcohol on board! :-) Bella's babycarrier and the threat of her having a freakout while I take her out to scan it, allowed us to stowe away soda, beer and wine. At dinner MSC gave Jeff a free bottle for his 40th! Here are some photos!

Athens - Jeff's Birthday!

We thought it was fitting to celebrate Jeff's decade birthday in the ancient city of Athens. As soon as the boat docked, we were one of the first ones off in hot pursuit of the metro. We found it - along with another Dutch adventurous couple. Greek subways are confusing!!! Not only are the letters all funky, but the names quite similar and it doesn't give you the two opposite ends of the line to choose from. We made it to the Acropolis from up there could see most of the important sites in Athens. Here are some photos.

Santorini - Oia Village

Probably our favorite stop and definitely the most picturesque. Here are some pics. We opted for the cable car up and down vice the 522 steps or the donkey (Mo would have freaked!). We hopped a local bus for 1.6EU each to the village of Oia and walked around. Caught a bus back after taking hundreds of photos. Here are some of the best.
