Bella's 2 Mos. Stats

It's actually 2.5 months...

Bella weighs 13 lbs, 15 oz and is at the 96th percentile. For height - apparently she's off the charts at the high end, though the doc didn't think the measurement was done right. Head size is consistently high at about 86th percentile.

We Love Santa.... sort of...

Last Friday we took Morgan and Bells to the USO Winterland Santa event, and sadly Mo was terrified. But after he gave her some candy and talking to her a bit she agreed to have lunch with him on Sunday and sit in his lap. Well, she didn't exactly sit on his lap, but she was okay being held next to him. After he gave her a Princess Barbie with hot pink hair and a matching bracelet for her to wear, she got brave enough to blow him kisses and send him hugs across the room. It was actually pretty cute because she wanted to go and say thank you for the gift, but when she got close just yelled thank you, screamed super loud, and sprinted back to us. The Italian Santa did this huge dramatic, almost soccer move with his hands back like - I didn't touch her - to the audience.

Maybe next year she'll be more relaxed. :-)

Bella was oblivious, but a bit tired. Here are the photos.

Where Will we be for Christmas 2010?

Getting Ready for Santa

This past weekend we put up our Christmas tree and holiday decorations. Rose gave Jeff the Santa hat which she got on her trip to Germany. She said she knew that Jeff would sport it during the holiday season around the gym... which he will.

Also noteworthy - Mo went to see her first movie this past week! We took her to see Disney's new movie Tangled. Bella was at daycare so we didn't have to worry about the noise and we sat close to the front. Got popcorn and drinks - Mo had a red slushy. It might have been too much fun though, because afterward Mo puked everywhere. But I do think she liked the movie and amazing how intuitive and tuned into the different relationships she is.

This weekend we also went to the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on base and saw the 'mock' Navy - Army football game. Navy won, just like Navy won back in the States.

PS - Happy Birthday Grannie Annie!!!

MoMo and Mommy Art Project

While Jeff was in San Diego for the AB Conference, Mommy planned a fun art project to keep Mo entertained during the rainy weekend. We decided to make Christmas cards for our family! In addition to these cute cards, we picked out some of Mo's best art she made during the year to send as well. Mo's favorite part was definitely gluing. I'm wondering if that's the part she's not allowed to do in school!! :-) We had glitter glue and surprisingly it didn't end up everywhere! Morgan has a lot of dexterity, patience and listens quite well so it was successful weekend.
