Thanksgiving in Prague

We had a great 5-day Prague trip, though must say traveling with a little one is a lot of work! While Morgan is a great traveler and very flexible - can take afternoon naps on-the-go in the baby carrier, isn't fussy about food and sleeps through the night.... - she does wake up EARLY. When we get excited at 7 PM that's she gone to sleep, by 11:30PM we're worried because we know she'll be up at 5:30 AM!

Prague was a fun, very walkable city - with Glugvine and beer available 24/7 with to-go-cups outside restaurants even. Our hotel, Central Hotel, was very close to everything and near the old part of town. We explored churches, the castle and the Jewish quarter. We also spent a day going out to Cesky Kromlov a UNESCO site about 3.5 hr train ride away toward Germany/Austria.

Morgan walked across the Charles bridge from end-to-end by herself! Even with a dance solo in the middle. A guy was playing a digery-doo and Mo got down and boogied. She drew a crowd and one guy even videotaped her - look for her on you tube!!!

Here are a few photos.

Paestum - Greek Ruins

Veteran's Day turned out to be beautiful though we didn't realize that until our plans had been made, canceled, made and canceled. Jeff, Mo and I ended up going for a drive to check out Paestum which are some of the best preserved Greek ruins outside of Greece. The site dates back to 5th century BC! Incredible!!

This weekend we had fun - Liz went for a ~50 mile bike ride and Jeff golfed (he won some money). We each had special time with Morgan and then also got in some family walks to the local markets downtown.
