Incorporating Morgan into Our Lifestyle
We're almost done decorating Morgan's room which is so cute. The latest addition is a water color painting by Nana Nancy (Jeff's Mom) in her colors that says her name on it. It's very special and looks great in her room.
Things are getting easier as Morgan is getting older. Since 6 weeks, I've been taking her to the La Jolla YMCA which offers 2-hours of free babysitting (included in the family membership) per day. It's been great to get in a workout, long shower, swim, hot tub soak...whatever. In the afternoon Morgan usually has her own person to hold her. There's actually a very sweet girl that's there that loves Morgan so I'm hoping she might turn into an evening babysitter.
Last Friday I started teaching cycle again. Though I'm not thrilled to be in spandex in front of the class, it was nice to see familiar faces and hear their encouragement on my progress back to my pre-pregnancy bod.
I've been swimming in the cove a few times a week and last Thurs and Fri swam across to the Marine Room. So I'm slowly getting into shape. Jeff has been wonderful taking care of Morgan so that I can have alone time to meet up with friends and workout. It's also giving Jeff and Morgan a great time to bond and ensure that Morgan gets used to taking a bottle before daycare.
Thursday we stopped by the office to say hi to everyone. Morgan was a champ and it was fun to see people. Yesterday we went to the beach and Jeff surfed.
Here are a few more photos! Love L, J, M
PS - Morgan had her 2 month check-up Monday and is at the 96th percentile for height!! 80 for weight and 90 for head size. She's 12.1 pounds and 2 feet tall.
