Getting Close

During our last Dr. visit, Dr. Lim estimated Morgan would be here before our predicted due date of June 9th and also before the estimated ultrasound tech due date of June 3rd. Today is Granny Annie's predicted due date and no action... Jeff's pick of June 1 looks strong, and Liz's of June 10th looks pretty weak!

During the past few weeks we've been getting ready. We bought a Mini-Van on Mother's Day (the new Mom car!) and have finished up our classes - LaMaze, breast feeding, infant cpr/first aid... Dr. Lim was impressed by Jeff's 100% attendance at every single check-up! This morning we bought a 50-gallon water heater and a few more bibs. Life is pretty darn exciting around here! Ha!!

Last Thursday Liz's work threw us a baby shower. There were close to 30 people there to watch Jeff eat mystery baby food. It was a riot! Especially as Jeff took large bits trying to figure out what it was - most of us watching were gagging! We had cake and ice cream and made out with a lot of good presents. Morgan got her first bikini, a pair of hand knit Uggs, a pack-n-play, and cookie thief book just to name a few.

Because of Dr. Lim's latest prediction on Morgan's arrival, Liz's parents are now planning to head out a little earlier. They'll be here this Friday, which is also Liz's last day of work - May 30th.
