December 22nd was Liz's parents 40th wedding anniversary and the date we told them we were pregnant. We also called Jeff's parents and relatives in Michigan to let them know as well. Everyone was really excited.
January 12, 2008 we had the 4D ultrasound and found out that we are having a baby girl. We are ecstatic and look forward to meeting Miss Morgan Ann Barris June 9th!
Liz has been feeling good - just getting FAT! But is still teaching spin classes 3 times a week, swimming and going to a yoga class. Last weekend we went up to Mammoth on Matt's annual trip. It was a lot of fun and we snowshoed up and down hills totalling about 7 miles in one day.
We have also been getting the nursery ready. Jeff has done a lot of work - painting, putting up a border, and building a nice solid wood book shelf system above the surfboard bench. We ordered our crib and have bought pink bedding. Liz's mom is making a quilt and sewing pink curtains.
Morgan has been moving a lot and we still get "a kick" out of feeling it. It's been fun!
